Marsha Matto is the principal and head designer of Point of View Interiors. Marsha has over 20 years of experience in high-end residential and commercial design. Her scope ranges from fabulous designs for a room or two, to being an integral part of the team in building a high-end dream house from the ground up, to life transforming renovations. Point of View’s projects have included elegant homes in Connecticut, the Hamptons, and Miami Beach, as well as exceptional apartments and commercial spaces in Manhattan.

Marsha’s construction knowledge sets her apart; and as a result, she is respected by builders and architects a like. Team is key. Marsha will effortlessly blend her talents and knowledge with that of the other team players; such as the architect, builder, artisans and most of all, the client. It is her job to extract the client’s vision of their home. The client must be satisfied; after all we are creating your personal sanctuary. And if the team is solid enough, the road should be - although hectic - rather enjoyable. She brings creativity, experience, professionalism, exceptional resources and a high level of service, which is priceless.

Marsha believes design should be a planned controlled process. A true analysis of your personality and vision, as well as collaborating conversations to define your needs. Only this will give you the result you’ve dreamt of. She will move forward with a job in a methodical controlled way, with out stifling the emotional undercurrents of creating one's home. After the process is complete you will have a home that will match your vision. A harmonious relationship between architecture, proportion, color and interior accents bringing together elegance and comfort. The reflection of you and your family should be felt in every single detail.

Marsha received her B.S. in Interior Design from Chamberlayne School of Design and Merchandising at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA in 1992.
She also currently teaches Interior Design at the University of Bridgeport, where she is a well-respected faculty member. Marsha loves to teach her students the ins and outs of the field as only a practicing Interior Designer with her level of experience can. Her hands on approach has served her students well and she truly enjoys giving back.
